Please feel free to contact us because we are creating a list of installers that may wish to join our PAS2030 Scheme, and we will contact you once we re-open for applications.
The United Kingdom has some of the oldest building stock in Europe. This means that many homes and commercial buildings are lacking basic energy efficiency measures (EEM's) and, as energy consumers, we are paying a higher price for inefficient buildings.
'PAS2030: Installation of Energy Efficient Measures in Existing Dwellings' sets out the specification for installing EEM's in existing buildings. Only installers that have been through a formal approval process by one of the Certification Bodies accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) to certify businesses who undertake installations to PAS2030. Only installers who have been certified against PAS2030 will normally be eligible to install EEM's under a number of funded schemes.
BFC was one off the first Certification Bodies accredited by UKAS to approve PAS 2030 Installers and have many years’ experience in the sector. Becoming a PAS2030 Approved Installer with BFC is a relatively straightforward process and we follow a simple, transparent, staged process in line with the requirements of PAS2030. Please be aware that you will need to have in place a Quality Management System (QMS) that meets the requirements of PAS2030 and demonstrate through the approval process that you work to this QMS.
To apply to become certified by BFC as a PAS2030 Approved Installer, please download the GD 01 application form and also take some time to look at the Scheme Rules. On receipt of your application form we will contact you to discuss your requirements and progress your application.
BFC can certify against the installation of the following PAS2030 EEM's:
